Maxler - Multi-Region Store Migration to Shopify Markets

Migrated two region-specific WordPress eCommerce websites into a single Shopify store using Shopify Markets, enabling centralized management while preserving region-level customization.

What I Did
I handled the complete migration and build independently from planning to execution covering both technical and design aspects of the store.

• Migrated products, customers, orders, and content from two WordPress sites into Shopify

• Set up Shopify Markets to support multiple regions within one store

• Designed and customized the Shopify theme for a consistent, scalable brand experience

• Created custom transactional and marketing email templates

• Configured region-specific shipping rules, pricing logic, and taxes

• Integrated required Shopify apps for operations and marketing

• Developed custom functionality to support business-specific workflows

Result
The project successfully unified two regional stores into a single, scalable Shopify solution reducing operational overhead, improving maintainability, and enabling seamless expansion into new markets.
